Hello

In Photoshop when saving and exporting a file using "export as" under Export , set to JPEG, the exported file loses GPS data. Is there a way to preserve the GPS data with the JPEG file

@Ray Rozema – Use Save As or Save As a Copy to JPEG to retain all supported metadata.

The workaround to save a copy is a dealbreaker for my vacation photo album--I'm using Photoshop's Image Processor via Bridge to create hundreds of JPGs to upload to a web album. It should be a preference to keep EXIF data when exporting.

Image Processor (a script ) doesn't use Export As (which isn't available to actions or scripts). Image Processor does retain metadata, including camera/EXIF and others.
