Get an error pop up window. Tried restarting photoshop/opened a new doc window, etc. but nothing helps. Save as/reduce image size is the workaround for now, but hope this gets fixed soon.

I've literally just bought CC and I'm getting this too. It's one of my most-used functions for saving images as digital assets. Very frustrating! Would appreciate a note of your workaround. Thanks heaps.

I build my layered psd files at 300/ or 600 px. But if I need it for web, that's when I used the Export as we feature. My workaround is simple. I reduce it to 72px and then save as jpg.

Same problem - UPDATE

Quick export works, "Export As" does nothing - and no - its NOT the graphics driver (disabled)

- FIX: turn on "load extensions" in preferences - it was turned off for some reason

However :

Save for web (still) crashes every time

Stumbled upon the same problem today.

I fixed it by going to Preferences -> Plug-ins -> and disabling "Load Extension Panels". Then I closed Photoshop, allowed it to start again and enabled the "Load Extension Panels" back. Closed and opened a second time. It allowed me to use "Export As" without problems.

Yes.  Same problem.  This has brought my workflow to a halt for days.  Wish I had never downloaded the 2022 version.  The most bug-plagued version ever.  Next year I'll wait 4 months before dowloading so they have to time get their act together.

@bobm25765616 This thread is pretty old. What command are you having trouble with? What is the exact error you get?

Each time I start with a TIFF file, then go Export>Save for Web and try to
save it as a JPEG the file it saves shows up with zero mpx and then crashes
Photoshop.
