I have the latest, and not so greatest, v21.1 and every time—LITERALLY—every time I try and use the eyedropper to pick a color off of an image it crashes. I have small files open too. So what the actual F*CK is up Adobe? This is unreal. Please help me asap. I am NOT getting my money’s worth.

what sample size are you using?

I have mine set to 5x5 average, sample all layers, and turned off the sample ring. Maybe change your setting and see if that works better. I have my cursors set to precise also.

if that doesnt work, also check your ram usage and graphics processor settings. history states and cache levels. (in your preferences).
