Hi am doing some poster design in PhotoShop and have been using the Eyrdropping tool frequently. Suddenly, now it has the 3D mark (sorry bad explanation) and won´t work. I looked online for aswers, went to Window -> Workspace  Essentials ant turned off 3D, but it still won´t work.

Frustrates me to no end! Someone know what I may do to solve this?

Hi Jonas,

have you also tried to do a reset of Adobe Photoshop preferences?

That is a different tool and is the 3D Material Eyedropper tool. It shares the same location in the toolbar. You could address it in one of three ways. Either :

1. Click and hold on the 3D Material Eyedropper tool in the toolbar and in the list of tools that opens, click on the Eyedropper tool

or

2. Go to menu Edit >Toolbar and click on Restore Defaults

or

3. Go to workspaces - choose Essentials then click on Reset Essentials
