Try this "This Face Expression File is bad or corrupted" message box:

  • Quit Photoshop
  • Go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe in Windows File Explorer and search for "Face".
  • When you find a file called "FaceExpressionPresets.psp", rename it with .old at the end (to preserve it just in case).
  • Restart Photoshop. The file will recreate itself. If there is still an issue, the older file is still there and can be renamed again.

I cannot find that file at all. Any searches I do results in nothing. Is there something else I could try?

I have been having the same issues.

I have the same problem. Both at work and at home. I have done "the fix" but after a few days it's the same again. Very annoying.

Annoying it may be but if the fix works then »things could be worse« …

For me as well.

It's not "fixed" if the problem persists.

If you had cancer, went thru chemo, were declared "cancer free" and then two months later had the tumor return... would you consider the situation "fixed"?
