What's the saying? "A picture is worth a thousand words"
One of the most helpful things you can do when discussing an issue/problem is to take a still screen shot of the entire screen. This way we can see any error dialogs or visual defects either in the user interface or the image itself, as well as the state of the application. (i.e. what panels are shown, the state of the Layers panel, etc)
Here are instructions on how to capture a still screen shot or video to illustrate and bugs or issues you encounter:
Capturing screen shots/videos:
To capture a still screen shot on Macintosh:
Press the [Command] + [Shift] +  keys together. (Note: you should hear a camera shutter sound if you have the volume on your computer turned up)
The screen shot will be saved to the desktop on your computer and the file will be titled similarly to "Screen Shot 2012-<today's date and time>:
Note: You can use Photoshop to highlight/circle any areas of interest if necessary.
