I would like to know how I can make Photoshop AI work faster, if I need higher quality components or does it simply have a limit?

What are the CPU, GPU, and RAM specifications of your computer?

For many AI features, processing speed depends heavily on GPU capabilities. AI features can take much longer on hardware that’s more than a few years old, or on low-end graphics hardware. A discrete graphics card with a good amount of graphics RAM tends to run AI features far faster than integrated graphics. AI has changed this game…one way to understand it is to look at the Microsoft requirements for their Copilot+ PC specification, because Copilot+ was designed to support anticipated hardware requirements for near-future AI features.

The speed of AI features that are processed in the cloud can depend on the quality of the Internet connection to the Adobe cloud servers. These might run slower if the allocation of Generative Credits for the month has been exceeded.

When you say “higher quality components’ do you mean resolution? There are some limits on generative fill resolution. Those limits don’t necessarily apply to other AI or machine learning features, so the answer depends on which features you’re specifically asking about.

These are my specs, so I'm interested in how I can make it run faster when using AI.

Use a Studio Driver, not A Game Ready Driver.

Do a custom, clean installation of the driver from NVIDIA.

Work from the SSD, not the HDD.

You may need a larger SSD to do that.

I use an M.2, but I'll try changing the driver
