PS 23.2.2 MOS12.3 MBP

When clicking on Print from the file menu, PS saves the image as a pdf on the desktop. When printing other open images, PS overwrites the pdf on the desktop and saves that. The pdf's file name is from a document I saved about a month ago. The pdf prints normally when opened in any other app and can print, but PS is not printing atall. Yes, I've reset prefs. no change.

PS was working normally yesterday.

Quit Photoshop if running.
Relaunch Photoshop and open the file that you want to print.
Press the Spacebar on your keyboard before you click File > Print. This process resets printer preferences that have been written into the image.
