Hi, I have the same problem... A workaround for me is to choose the second external editor to be PS Beta. It then shows an error, however, the file gets added as a psd to the catalogue. Then I can open it with the normal PS editor.

I have the same issue. Photoshop opens but doesn't import the photo.  I can import as a smart object but there is an error message when I try to save it back to lightroom.

I CAN import to PS Beta.  I saw a work around to unistall and reinstall both programs, restart and then it worked for some people; however, this did not work for me.  I am in the middle of my busy season, this is really frustrating to have this issue right now. I need it to be fixed quickly.  Anyone else have a solution????

Contacted Adobe customer service and they walked me through it and fixed the issue.  I believe the problem was a conflict between PS23 and the PS Beta.

Hi All - if you have the PS beta installed, try uninstalling it and see if your LR to PS workflow is restored.
