Files will not show in photoshop when opened in Photoshop. The file opens but is not visible.

I can send a tiff or a raw to Photoshop from Lightroom. BUT, it does not open. Has for the past year and a half just fine. Once it is open in photoshop I can use the wide angle lens or Adobe Camera RAW on it, and then I can see the image... But in photoshop itself, no image shows up. I have tried to repair the installation but it does not work. I have re-installed Photoshop and restarted many times. No solution to this so far. Help.
