Flickers on image after opening PS 2023. I work on a Mac.

 When I open an image in PS 2023, the image flickers when I put the cursor on it.

The problem doesn't appear if I open the same photo in PS2020.

Any solutions for eliminating this problem?

Try going into Preferences/Technology Previews and check "Disable Native Canvas".

Are you on Mac OS Ventura or Monterey?

Adobe Photoshop has not been updated for Mac OS Ventura yet.

Thank you! Your suggestion appears to have stopped the flicker problem!

I have been using PS 2020 for several years because I got the flickers on PS 2021 and didn’t take the time to ask for help. But I’m so glad I finally did and you answered. Thank you!

I am on Monterey 12.6.

Two last questions:

1. Is there a shortcut in PS so that when I click to create a layer like Levels or Saturate that I don’t have to click on a second window indicating that is what I want? It would be so much simpler to just create a layer with one click. 

2. I dust tried editing a photo in PS 2023. The edit function works fine, but when I went to save it, it only allowed me to save it as a TIF. No option for a jpeg. How can I get around that?
