Flip horizontal not working when using shortcut

Hi,

I had it working before but now when I try to flip view horizontally using the shortcut it doesn't work. It works if I use Image -> Image Rotation -> Flip canvas horizontally.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Flipping the canvas and flipping the view are two entirely different things and are not to be interchanged. Please look in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts and tell us what you have assigned to each.

Did you save your custom shortcuts with a new name?

Did you assign your custom shortcuts to work with only one workspace?

Yeah I was adding the shortcut to the wrong one, I realised when you said they aren't the same thing! Thank you
