Is anyone else having issues in photoshop when they type into two words and want the second word to appear on the second line when they hit "enter" it takes the word all the way down to the bottom of the text box and not the next line? Does anyone know how to solve that problem?

Is the text in the same frame or a new frame? If it's in the same frame, it's either:

  • leading (Character panel)
    or
  • space above/below (Paragraph panel)

If it's starting a new text frame, you may be using Enter on the Numeric keypad instead of the alphabetic keypad.

If you don't see it, show a screenshot. Select some of the text and include those two panels (Window menu).

Are you using point or paragraph text? What settings do you have for your leading?

Adobe has extensive help pages about text in photoshop, too much to cover here, you may want to read through them.
