I don't often need to work with fonts, but I'm working on something now that needs them. When I click to choose a new font - either from the upper menu or from the character window - the font window covers a significant amount of the workspace, so I either have to move my project over - which some will still be covered by the font window, make it very small on my screen, or just not be able to see it at all. Why has this changed from the smaller options before, and how do I make it so that the font window is not so large??

There has been some discussion about the revised font dialog. The extra real estate it takes up isn't popular with folks who don't have high-res, dual, or ultrawide monitors. I'll add your voice to the conversation.
