I go to my CC app manager and it shows that I must install photoshop and several other apps. . THAT I HAD INSTALLED ALREADY FOR WEEKS. So. . like an idiot. .I installed and, of course, I LOST EVERYTHING. . .MY ACTIONS, MY PRESETS.. . .everything. . .I have had nothing but TROUBLE, CRASHES, LOSING PRESETS. . REINSTALLS. . .INSTALLS WHEN I WAS INSTALLED FOR THE LAST MONTH OR SO. . .It is getting INTOLERABLE. . .I don't know what to do. . or even what I'm asking to be done. . .WHY WHY did I have to install Photoshop as if I had never had it. . WHY?!!

Sorry that you have to reinstall Photoshop and other apps in the Creative Cloud desktop app. I'd recommend that you use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to remove them Creative Cloud desktop app and then reinstall it. Now I've just had my third "update" for CC app manager. . . now I supposed to uniinstall and then reinstall. . .the problem is I have no faith in ANYTHING anybody tells me. . .I've had 4 or 5 Adobe techs going through my files. . .deleting files, renaming files. . .telling me the problem is solved. . .only to crash two days later. . over and over. . .I believe everyone of them have been guessing and fiddling and proving that too many chefs will spoil the stew. . .IT'S A MESS. . .and I don't think one more uninstall and reinstall is going to make a damn difference. . . I've lost faith in the entire Adobe product and customer service. . .I NEVER KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT EVERYTIME I GO TO PHOTOSHOP OR LIGHTROOM. I think I have to look for other solutions as it seems Adobe only guesses and just makes the problem more complicated.

Okay here is the latest. First the good news. Photoshop and Lightroom have seemed to have found each other again. The most recent PS update seems to have fixed some of the bugs. Now the bad news: I'm getting constant notifications the "a new version of CC is available" yet I've upgrade at least 3 times and I still get the notification every other day or so. Secondly, I get repeat notifications that Acrobat failed to upgrade after it was attempted. . .I get this one every other day. Also, I get a notification of a "sync error". . whatever that means. . .all in all. .none of it makes sense. . .but nothing much has. . .I've attempted to discuss it with the techies on the chat feature. . .but they can't even grok what I'm trying to say. . I don't know. . .CC is stumbling along. . .is basically functional. ..so I guess I'll just take my medicine with this new annoying normal. .because nobody seems to be able to even grok what the hell I'm trying to tell them.

I just "upgraded" CC again. . .it's the same version 510407. . .over and over. . STOP THE MADNESS!!!
