I am sure there is an easy answer to this, but I cannot find it, so I hope someone here can help.
When entering text into an image, the text format is going odd. Copyright symbols are jumping to the end of the line, when I want them at the beginning. E.g.
©grahamwiffenphotography.com
come out as:
grahamwiffenphotography.com ©
Does anyone know how I can get round this please?
Thank you
Graham

Hi Graham
A couple of things to try first
1. Try a different font (does the same thing happen?)
2. Rest the type tool
Click on the T at the top left of the options bar
Then in the drop down click on the cog symbol
From that menu click on Reset tool

Hi Dave,
It happens with every font I have tried so far - about 15.
I reset the Type tool, but no difference.
Its an odd one!!
Thx Graham

Some extra info ...
It is only the copyright symbol that cause isues.
If I add letters to the start of the line, they add fine, but it is when I add the copyright symbol, that it jumps to the right hand end of the line. It is like the copyright symbol is right justified
If I add the copyright symbol in the middle of the line, or even after just a single letter, then it stays where I put it.
It just doesnt want to be at the start of the line.
Very strange.
Thx Graham

I've been trying to replicate this but so far without success.
How exactly are you adding the symbol?
Have you tried positioning the text cursor and adding by clicking in the glyphs panel?
Can you show a screenshot of your Character and Paragraph panels?
Dave
