I noticed something odd in 24.1.1 where whenever I'm fullscreen in RGB color mode, my brush strokes lag very noticeably, but switching to CMYK (or making my Photoshop window smaller than fullscreen on RGB) fixes the problem...

Hi @Nathan28067732ufu3 did you notice this only in 24.1.1 or in an earlier version?

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

Thank you,

Cory

Hi @Nathan28067732ufu3 are you using a Wacom tablet?

If so try this:

  1. Install the latest Wacom drivers
  2. Launch the Wacom Tablet Properties application
  3. Select your Tablet
  4. Under Tool, select your pen
  5. Under Application, select All.
  6. Navigate to the Mapping tab.
  7. Uncheck Use Windows Ink.
  8. Close the Wacom Tablet Properties application.
