Using windows 10 and photoshop v26.0.0
Not sure if this is happening to others but since the last update from v25 to v26 I am finding gen fill and its learning curve has gotten worse. I understand there needs to be guidelines with what it can and can't generate but in the previous version and because I help to both restore old photos and change aspects in newer photos, in v25 I could lasso an ankle and generate a new foot or similar with a wrist and generate a hand, now although some of the hands looked a little odd, it worked, now in v26 the moment you hit skin and ask for a new limb, your hit with the guideline warning and it fails to generate anything. Surely this is a little over the top and you would think the leaning curve would both generate a decent hand or foot and not say you are breaking guildines, why work to a certain degree in v25 and after all its learning, fails to do anything in a newer version of photoshop.

Hi CM,
I just keep getting the orange warning box saying to check the guidelines for what I am trying to generate, I can't even highlight via a lasso, a crease line that happens to be on the skin of an arm, I also tried generating a new nose on a subjects face because it had a massive tear right through the middle of the face, bang, up it pops again and says check the guidelines, surely this is not breaching any rules or guidelines when trying to give friends and family heirlooms from their old photographs, its neither in bad taste with what I'm trying to do with images given to me, it was not too bad when I first started with Photoshop & Gen Fill but since this last version update, it seems to have gotten worse than ever and I thought with all its learning curves it goes through and with what folks are trying to do with it, it would have gotten better.
