Does anyone know of a good tutorial or some tips on how to get generative fill to work at all?

The initial demo of generative fill got me very excited at the potential but after experimentation I can not see how they ever were able to get the demo to work that well without cheating.

I used a high resolution image of my house and tried to add a simple flower bed. I have tried numerous prompts from "Flower bed, add flowers, foundation garden, garden, plants, etc etc." I have also used long strings with no avail. Every time except for 1 generated bad copy and pastes of the grass surrounding the selection. Next, I tried their magical sky replacement. Same thing, numerous prompts such as "night sky, replace the sky to a night sky with stars, remove clouds" and quite a few other terms. All it ever did was move the clouds around and change nothing.

I don't understand how something as simple as add flowers it fails every time and just replants the grass around it like a bad clone stamp would. What could I be doing wrong?
