Everytime, I export using Photoshop I receivea genereator plugin error, I have switched on off (toggled and tested) the plug in - in preferences, but still nothing, I dont really want to touch my virus software, I see that sometimes causes and issue.

Is this just after the Photoshop update?

Thanks

Hi there,

We are sorry about the experience due to the generator error in Photoshop. Would you mind sharing the macOS version of the computer you are using?

You can try the steps suggested (apart from changing settings of the anti-virus) in the article linked below.

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/error---there-is-a-problem-with-generator--occurs-when-launchin...

If that doesn't help, please try switching off the anti virus to check if that helps. You can also try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2Qzc0K3

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG

Regards,

Nikunj

Hi Nikunj

I can't find the directory path you listed.

My MacOS is 10.15.4 Catalina.

I am also unaware of where to go to change the anti virus settings.

Kind Regards

Which directory path are you referring to? If you are unable to navigate to /Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2020/Adobe Photoshop 2020.app/Contents/MacOS/node

You need to right click on the app file for Photoshop and select Show Package Content
