I am wondering how to achieve the below gradient effect (as displayed on the suspended body). Please let me know if you have any insight — thank you!

That is just a gradient map adjustment layer.

Thank you, I assumed some sort of gradient tool, however i wasn't certain if an additional filter was added

To get the higher contrast look, either curves or levels might have been added below the gradient map.
