Groups with lower opacity cause glitches when moving layers within

Photoshop version 24.7.2 and 24.4.1

Mac os Monterey 2.6.2

If I create a layer group, and lower that group's opacity, it has glitches when moving layers around.

The most consistent issue is if multiple layers are selected within the group, and I option-drag to copy all the layers together and move them, the copies appear to have a lower transparency. It goes away if I turn them off and on. Or if I option-drag again, the previous copy will flip to full transparency and only the newest copy has lowered transparency.

An interesting thing to note is that the extra transparent copies do appear to be more transparent over layers outside the group, but within the group, it is not layering the transparency.
