Hello,

Recent user of “Creative Cloud”, I am considering purchasing a new computer to effectively use this suite of solutions.
Do you have any recommendations?
I thank you for that.

@Arno_1111 I wouldn't go by the minimum, have a look at the recommended requirements in the below link

Hi
See the system requirements at the link below. Take the 'recommended' as the minimum. The minimum in the table really is not up to real work.

I'm looking for what could be described as a minimum requirement for smooth usage.

i5 or i7

32 GB RAM

1 TB NVMe for system drive + additional storage for documents

Nvidia RTX 4050 or 4060

Steer away from anything marketed specifically for gaming. Requirements are very different. For instance, we see a fairly high percentage of problems with AMD systems here in the forums. It's not "bad", it's just basically gaming hardware configured for gaming. That's their defined market.

@Arno_1111 it depends.... are you needing and doing video editing, 3D work, animation or just drawing or working in Illustrator and Photoshop. What is your budget. And are you planning to do anything else with the PC.

Hello Creative Explorer,

Currently, my main usage is Lightroom & Photoshop. May be video in the future.

I'm looking for what could be described as a minimum requirement for smooth usage.
If I make video in the future, I will consider upgrading the system.
The computer will be used for other personal needs, but not for large consuming applications.

Be extra careful with laptops, if that's on the table. Extensive modifications of operating system and hardware is the manufacturers' way of putting their stamp on the product, as well as extra layers of added "helpful" software. All of this tends to get in the way and create problems. You want as lean and basic as possible - not in terms of specs, but in terms of configuration.
