Having a "drag-select" problem

When I use my cursor to drag-select a bunch of elements in my document, it won't grab text blocks (even though the Layers palette shown them to be selected). How do I know this? Well, once I drag-select my elements, I'll use the Transform command to scale it all, but only the non-text items will scale.

What's going on here? Maybe I bumped a setting, somewhere?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear about the trouble experienced.

We're here to help.

Would you mind updating Photoshop to the latest version? Is the text present in a different layer or the same layer? Are you able to scale the text layer separately? Are you using the Move tool before dragging and selecting?

You may try to reset Photoshop preferences back to defaults and check if that helps. Here's the article for the steps: https://adobe.ly/3ceal5t. Also, back up the Photoshop preferences if you have any custom brushes, actions, and workspace: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG.

Let us know if this helps.

Regards,

Ranjisha
