I have version C5 PS which I have been using for awhile. Not sure what happen but today my healing brush which is one of the tools I use all the time is not showing up in the tool bar. Is there a way to refresh PS to back to original settings? Or do I need to delete and reinstall PS on my computer. It has been below zero for many days here in upstate NY so I have been working on my pics for the past several days. Not today as no healing brush.
Heya, I don't know if you solved your issue, I have a solution tho.

If there is a little triangle in the lower right in the tool bar tool icon right click on the tool in the bar see if you then see it. Try Shift+J to change the tool.

No triangle in the lower right hand tool bar. Something tells me I need to try to reset PS to original settings or reinstall?

I have closed out of PS and shut my computer off and restarted. Or maybe I hit an tab of some sort to make it disappear. I only use PS for basic editing nothing fancy

I'm having the same issue, for no reason at all, after years and years of using PS, the Spot Healing tool is gone from my Tool Bar. I hope this is not an idiotic Adobe improvement to the software.

It's just another example of how unstable Photoshop is. I know a lot of people who work in programming and coding and to them PS is a running joke. Basically, if any other programme (e.g from Microsoft) kept losing things from menus there would be uproar and MS would have to fix it quick. But becasue there is no real competitor to PS then Adobe can get away with it.
