Healing tool content aware not working correctly after Photoshop install

The healing tool (not spot healing) is not working correctly after I uninstalled and reinstalled PS last week. Now the healing tool acts more like a clone stamp at 75% flow with a harder brush . I've googled and googled and don't know why. But it's as if something is wrong with the tool's content aware feature and it's very harsh rather than a softer healing. I have PS 2021 and I use a wacom.

Hello, check the exact version you are running in help>system info. please state if it is on an M1 processor.

Did you try to reset the tool? (right click on the tool icon in the option bar)
