hello, trying the new photoshop and have problem with opening images

so every time I drag an image, mostly PNG or PSD, sometimes JPG, it opens with a very large window frame that fills the screen. if I drag it aroung a little the frame resizes to a normal size around the image. what is wrong ? it's very annoying to try and work like this, every image I open needs to be dragged so it will not fill the whole screen with useless frame... thanks

What version of windows are you using?

It might help if you post the contents of Help>System Info from within photoshop.

I downloaded the demo of the new photoshop a few monthes ago and now got to try it, says ver 24.0.0 in the help-about menu.

In photoshop go to Help>Updates so you can get the latest 24.4.1 version.

So it's not me missing something in the prefs but probably a small bug, so I'll try and update.
