Help creating textured 'brushed in' image look

I'm quiet new to PS but I want to create the impression of an image being 'painted in' like the the attached example. I've watched a tutorial on it before but cant find it now and not sure how to search for it because all I get is how to make an image look like a painting. 

Does anyone know of some good tutorials to help me create the same look and feel as the attached image?
