Help, I was saving my project and it turned into a red layer and blue layer

I was finishing up a document when it changed into 2 layers 1 red and 1 blue.

How do i change it back?

Can you show us a screen shot of your workspace?  Make it full res and showing document window and layers panel.

Things to try:

Are you in Quick Mask?  hit the Q key to toggle on and off.  (I don't think this is the problem but let's make sure)

Are you looking at the layers panel and not the Channels panel?

Can you open the History panel and step back to see where it happened?
