Help! Program stopped performing Tasks

Photoshop worked fine but now it has stopped performing tasks and freezes

Without any system info and possibly other technical details nobody can tell you much. Merely saying that it ceased to work is not really useful. Start by reinstalling the program and check your system's graphics configuration. Anything beyond those two standard steps will require much more specific information.
