hi! I need help... I'm sure I hit a button or something but can not figure it out. I'm trying to do a background swap using a layer as I've done many times but when I drag it over the image, the layer shows in the panel but not on the main screen where you would edit. When I click the layer, it then goes blank not showing the picture anymore. I've restarted my computer hoping it would fix the issue but it didn't. I'm on a Mac Pro and using Adobe Photoshop 2024 (See video for full explanation)

Hi! I shut my computer down for the day yesterday and turned it on this
morning to everything working correctly again. I guess it was a glitch.

That's really strange, Latasha!
I'm curious -- what happens when you click the background's layer visibility off and leave the dragged-in layer on?
Does your layer panel show two visibility actions because you tried the hide action twice?
It's like video memory is running low.

• Layer > Align … > Vertical Centers
• Layer > Align … > Horizontal Centers
