High memory usage with connecting the Lan cable

I don't know why my notebook(ram16GB) would high memory usage when I connecting the Lan cable. If I did that the memory would be overuse more than 99% and make my computer freezen. But when I using Wi-Fi, this problem wouldn't happened. Can some one help me.
