Do you want to remove just the red? Or do you want to clone other parts of the image where the red paint is? Let us know a little more information so we can give you some options! There are quite a few ways to accomplish what you are asking for.

If the red paint replaced other pixels then while you can remove the red, you cannot restore what is no longer there. We can better advise, though, when we see what you have and are not left to guess.

I assume the screenshot is flattened and therefore contains no editable layers.

Use the Eraser tool.
