In addition, you can create a path with the pen tool and transform on a selection, if the quick selection is not that easy, But I think the quick selection will work

Select the guy and then invert the selection and then use the select and mask option on the top

Another option is to select the guy, or at least the body, copy and paste into a new layer. Then you can start adjusting the background in various ways like:

- Extending the colour above the advertising (behind his head).  Edit > - Contents: Content-Aware may help filling the advertising area.
- You could add your own image to place over the advertising.  Paste it into a new layer and use Edit > Transform > Distort and pull the corners to match that of the advertising.
