No, I haven't found a way to save a png larger than 8 bits. Unless they gave you a 16-bit "png" and you put save as copy. Otherwise I have not found the way.
I've come across that Photoshop doesn't save >8 bit png.
People do not explain themselves and adobe workers have never encountered this problem and they give "blind sticks".
I have seen many people with the same problem and the workers give strange solutions.
I am going to show it with steps to see if once and for all we understand what we are asking for in 2023. This topic is as old as ignorance.
1 - They give me anORDp ( Opacity, Roughness, Displacement ), 2k has a weight of 11,305 KB. Each channel is a type. R=O, G=R, B=D.

2 - When I open it, I choose the channel that I want to export.

Do you see that it says 32 bits?
- - 1 - If I export in png, it loses 24 bits. (with all channels open)

I lose: 11,305 KB - 5,091 KB = 6,214 Kb of information.
- - 2 - Save has copy, as png only works with 8 bits

There are no available options. I don't want these formats. Why? I don't need apples I need pears.
3 - No, this is not a job for a teacher. This is working life.
So I would like them to be 100% accurate. Because if it doesn't work, I'm going to say it widely and openly.
There is some way.
Are 24 Bits important? Not for the human eye, for map projects generation of terrains or textures for UE "too much".
Is there any way to save a PNG in 32 bits?

Cannot edit post.
When I open the exported PNG I get this:
8 bits, like I said -24 bits.

Is there any way? while I will be looking at alternatives to Photoshop.

In the end I found the solution.

Save As or Save A Copy will save PNGs as 8 or 16 bits per channel (24 or 48 bits total).
Export saves as 8 bits per channel (=24 bits), or 8 bits indexed (8 bits total). Export is intended for web/screen/mobile, where 16 bit makes no sense.
But no alpha channel, just transparency.

Now I understand why you are "engaged" those of 3D and those of design. It's not my field, I'm a programmer.
Difference between doing it wrong and doing it right. The relief.
In one you lose information.

In the other you have that relief information.

On a small scale it is not noticeable, on a large scale it is. Think big.
I know that you will never find this problem, but those who are working in 3D will see it (and I am passing through this issue),
And will someone who is only a designer think... and what affects me? Not you, but 3D designers are very affected by your program.
I solved the problem.

Another example from someone with experience.
I mention this in case you don't see whether or not the "large-scale" bits are really important.
