When I fill an area with a pattern, the result is a grid with the pattern repeating. The pattern repeats in rows and columns. Can I make it not be a grid? For example shift every other row some amount?

If you're using Edit>Fill, look in the  Scripted Fill drop down for Brick Fill.

This appears to be a selection of patterns. I'm wanting to use my pattern. So, this isn't a solution, unless I learn to write scripted fills in javascript or whatever.

The pattern should be shown in the initial Edit > Fill dialog; a dialog then comes up, where you adjust the parameters.

Ah. Thanks. My patterns are gone for some reason. After creating a pattern, I can use it with scripted fills. Thanks!
