How do I fix edges fading when I blur an image?
I haven't had this problem before

Hi

All you've shown is the image, not any of the panels.

  • The first thing I would do is to look at the Layers panel to see if the "edge" is a separate layer
  • The second thing (if your file is still open and has not been closed) is to look at the History panel to see if a selection was in place when you blurred the image.

There could possibly be other reasons, but look at these first. If you don't see it, show a screen shot that include your panels.

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible before and after blurring?
