How do you share actions between workstations via the creative cloud?

I cannot find a sync button, and the libraries don't seem to let you share actions.

Also, it would be good to share keyboard shortcuts between workstations as well.

@tomd29838282 You cant share actions via Creative Cloud libraries.

You can save/export the actions from Photoshop and share them via other methods.

Thanks, guys. I understand you can do this manually. I've been using Photoshop for 19 years, but I was hoping there could be a more "cloud" in the Adobe Creative Cloud. I'm not sure why they don't do perpetual licenses if the cloud part doesn't do anything.

There is a kludgy workaround, change the file extension to .jpg and add to your Library. The other computer would need to download via the website and change the extension back but it does work.

I consider Adobe’s decision to completely switch to a Cloud license (for Photoshop and many other applications) model regretable, but you do not seem to understand Creative Cloud or you do understand but pretend otherwise to try to make a point.

Creative Cloud obviously does do something

It provides libraries for image and vector content, access to Adobe’s font library, manages licenses, provides updates and upgrades, …

Feel free to post a Feature Request (mark as »Idea« instead of »Discussion«) or add your support if you can find an existing one that reflects your wishes sufficiently.

you clearly don't get sarcasm, but that's okay.

As I said: »pretend otherwise to try to make a point«

Maybe I missed the clue that signified the sentence as sarcastic.

.atn files are indeed not yet supported in the Libraries. The Libraries are very useful for synchronizing files in your workflow, but it is not really a "pass-through" system for all file types. It is a good note that it would also be useful for sharing these types of Adobe files as well. It is somewhat absurd that you have to share those via email or other cloud systems (such as Google Drive, for example). I suspect that the Libraries will support more and more file types in the future?

Adobe just shut down their cloud file-sharing feature.

I don't understand why Adobe can't just backup app settings to the cloud.

And to make sure Adobe actually notices the wish a Feature Request would seem ideal.

With a quick search I could not find one on this specific issue.

You can save both shortcuts and actions to a file and load that file on another computer.
