Hello, I cant seem to figure out a way to turn off the rotate view touch gesture while still being able to keep the zoom in gesture for my surface pro. It is incredibly annoying every time i want to zoom into the screen my canvas rotates a couple degrees. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

I do no believe Microsoft Touch Display Touch device driver has a type of configuration you can tailor for user applications. You would need to add a wacom tablet with touch support and configure its touch support for use with Photoshop. It will also keep finger prints off your display.
Photoshop touch gestures support seems to be on for machines withtouch devices. Wacom Touch support can be tailored for Applcation via Wacon device support.

I'm using an Intuos Tablet and had the same problem until I went into the Wacom Tablet Preferences/Standard Gestures and under two finger touch preferences I unchecked "rotate". That put an end to accidentally engaging the rotate tool in Photoshop.

It really is useless on a surface pro and it is unacceptable that you cannot turn it off. What a fail for Adobe. You would think they would at least make it "snap to center ' so you could correct it. They really need to get it together it is so annoying . Slows me down all the time.

I'm not a big fan of Touch screen. You should be able to turn off all touch screen gestures in Photoshop in your Photoshop Preferences.
Have you tried that? In your Tools Preferences uncheck enable gestures.

I found this to be somewhat helpful. I only want to turn off the rotation gesture for my mousepad. I want to still be able to move around and zoom without fear of accidental rotation.
