Hi everyone,
I’ve been using Photoshop for a while to design images for my website, and I wanted to share some of my favorite tools and techniques that help me create high-quality visuals:
:artist_palette: Smart Objects – Helps in resizing without losing quality.
:paintbrush:️ Custom Brushes – Perfect for adding unique design elements.
:crayon:️ Layer Styles – Great for creating engaging effects for banners.
:straight_ruler: Guides & Grids – Helps in aligning elements properly for web graphics.
I mainly create promotional images and UI elements for my site using these tools. What are your favorite Photoshop features for designing website images? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Smart Objects, Smart Objects, Smart Objects!
Nowadays it seems a lot of Photoshop users take advantage of the advantages of Smart Objects (combining elements in different Color Spaces, non-destructive Transformations and Filter applications, multiples both in one and multiple files, …) but it did take some of them a while.

Hey, thanks for sharing your go-to tools — I agree on Smart Objects and Layer Styles; they’re game-changers for [removed]
I do a lot of work on UI elements and hero banners, and here are a few features I constantly rely on:
Shape Layers—Super useful for clean, scalable buttons and icons.
Snap to Pixel Grid—Keeps everything razor-sharp, especially for UI.
Adjustment Layers—Great for making non-destructive edits across multiple elements.
Export As / Save for Web—Helps me keep images optimized without losing too much quality.
I recently put together a breakdown of my workflow and favorite Photoshop tricks for designing web images.

I also have a website, and sometimes I use actions to automate tedious tasks like resizing, adding a watermark or logo in the top left corner, and similar activities. Additionally, creating templates is essential, at least for me and for my online shop.

I'd love to see the link Bojan. The mods are not big on sharing links to personal sites when we consider it spamming, but I think someone like yourself has earned the right to share. Hmmm... I just thought... it might not be in English?

It's not in English; I won't post the link here. It's a clothing store for big guys and has nothing to do with Photoshop or Adobe. Here’s one for social media. Ps templates in use, of course.
