I second this comment!
Why doesn't Photoshop's new Export command feature the ability to replace spaces with a hyphen (dash)?
If I am exporting a graphic for web usage I need the spaces to be replaced by hyphens but I don't want to go back to the outdated Save For Web command that did do this by default.
I can see the value in sometimes having spaces and other times having hyphens, so come on Adobe please provide a checkbox in the dialog window to allow the user to export it with or without hyphens.

Perhaps a moderator can change this topic from a "discussion" to an "idea"... I searched and didn't find any existing idea feature requests for this.
There are of course other 2-step options until such a feature is hopefully added.
I use a Mac and have added various contextual right-click "Services" commands in the Finder to run on selected files:
Then there is Adobe Bridge's Batch Rename tool.
One can also use a script in Photoshop to rename spaces to hyphens or underscores to selected files or a folder's contents.
