I am trying to create a rhombus in photoshop that has exact interior angles and side lengths. I know what these values are, but I'm not sure how to manipulate the rectangle tool to get what I want. The rhombus's I need at the Penrose P3 tiling rhombuses, and they have very particular interior angles I'd like to match.
Hi @Matthew26835659p5r1 not sure that is entirely possible with Photoshop - especially measuring angles. I would expect something like this to be built in Adobe Illustrator.
I expect this may need some trigonometry and, as @kevin stohlmeyer already pointed out, Illustrator might be a better fit.
What is the ultimate point here exactly? If you want to create seamless, non-square tiles keep in mind that anti-aliasing can result in noticable, slightly transparent seams.
