Dear community,
This is a how-to question,
I need to be able to create realistic dew/waterdrops on an image I have of a beverage. Since my company forgot to ask the photographer to spray water on the bottle before shooting the product.
Is there an easy way to create realistic water drops? I have searched around the net, and most tutorials i find are really outdated and complex.
Thanks in advance.

Well, you answered your own question. There's nothing simple about creating realistic droplets. Water is transparent, after all, and the shape defined by refraction and reflection. Re-creating this simply requires a lot of displacement effects and things like bevel layer styles.

It might also be possible to clip and color-adjust drops from an existing photograph/stock-image ā if one manages to find one with similar lighting and size.
