I am not sure, if this is a bug or not... I am currently working with Photoshop 25.3.1 on Mac Ventura 13.6.1

In my psb-File are 13 artboards (Zeichenflächen) for a calendar. I wanted to place pictures on these artboards and crop them after placement. The thing is: all I can do is move the pictures, but cropping is greyed out (does not show any white handles at all, when I use the crop tool).

Is this a bug or is it simply not possible to crop images within an artboard?  I haven't found any answer in here nor in the adobe help or with google so far 8-/

Thanks for the help
Michelle

Maybe this can help…

When several artboards you cannot crop the same way as for a single image.

Need to click on the artboard name to activate it and then crop using the artboard handles.
