How to drown the sign into the grass

I need to incerte the sign in to the photo on the lawn and make in realistic as if the sign was a little drown into the grass. What is the clever way to do this?

Please provide the original elements. 

Clipping individual blades of gras may be too cumbersome, a custom Grass-Brush might help.

But as the front edge is out of of focus anyway a sampled Brush with some randomization (and a Gaussian Blur Smart Filter) can help in my opinion.
