How to Install Photoshop 2019 version

Hello Adobe Community,

For quite some time now, I had a problems resizing image without getting it blurry. So, I had come up with the idea of comparing and testing it with an Adobe Photoshop 2019 version which my friend has on her windows computer. After testing, I figured that the Adobe Photoshop 2019 does the job, I can resize the image to the size I want without getting blurry, unlike with the current version they have. So, I am now in the looks to find an installer for the 2019 version because it would help me with my work. 

Don't get me wrong: I had tested with the current version of photoshop and had subscribed for it last time, but it didn't work. All the photos that I resize with whatever format was blurry. I don't mind subscribing again if it does work. But for now, everything is not and only Adobe Photoshop 2019 version does. 

I hope you can guide me where I can find Adobe Photoshop 2019 version? That would be a great help for me.

The installers for those older version are not available. 

Whenever you resize a clip or photo beyond 100% you will lose quality. These days there are some very good products specifically for this. Check this out for instance: https://www.topazlabs.com/

Most likely, you have not been use the same resampling options when resizing in the different versions.

As far as I know, there has been no change in these options since 2019.

You might have been using Bicubic Sharper in the 2019 version, which will probably give you the sharpest result for reduction. (although many of us find it too sharp, and use Bicubic (smooth gradients) instead)

Another possibility is that you have not been consistently viewing the image at 100%.

To assess sharpness and other image detail, you must view the image at 100%, where one image pixel is represented by one screen pixel. Any other view will be inaccurate and misleading because the image has been scaled.

There's a link to the 2018 downloads, but that's as far back as they go.  I read that Jim, who runs that site, has a good relationship with Adobe, so they are happy that he makes those versions available, and as in your case, there will be a lot of people with operating systems and/or hardware, that are unable to run current versions.

yes I see now, what a shame, I guess Jim the pro design tools guy should remove those pages now. . I got the impression earlier that he was previously hosting actual installer downloads - not just going to an Adobe source. Maybe that’s what's changed.

looks like there's no way to get early installers now then.

so many users will be stuck as in many cases OS SW cant be updated on older hardware.

@Ged_Traynor AHA, I think I get you now, I'd. not actually tried to download the installer myself - so the Protools links are no longer useful, that’s a shame

@Karen Meets World have you thought and try using the Photoshop on the Web? I have an older MacBook Pro, and I can't install Photoshop 2025 (I could use my work's computer if I truly need too); but, I had saw and even tried to use the Photoshop online, and it works like a charm, including resizing and resampling as well!
