Hello everyone,

Instead of clicking Control-click layer thumbnail to Load layer transparency as a selection in each layer, I would like to load layer transparency for ALL the layers together, instead of clicking each one separately (ideally making this a command.)

Thank you for your help!

This comes to my mind right away: Make the background layer invisible, mark all layers thumbnails, type ctrl + alt + shift + E and generate the selection of the new layer. But maybe someone knows a shorter way ...

Hello,

Thank you for your answer. How do I mark all layer thumbnails? No manually with the mouse key, but with a shortcut

Hello,

This selects all the layers. I need to select all the selected (masked) areas inside each layer.

Thanks again

You have to select/target  some way which layer pixel areas you want to add to the selection.  Like in your screen Capture you show all visible layer you turned off the background layer visibility.   You could instead target the few layers  the you want their pixels added to a selection.   A Script can automate the process of making the selection and run from a shortcut.  However, the script need some way to know which layers pixels you want selected.  Thers easer and quicket to use then changing Tool options in the tool option bar.

Your Stamp Visible layers add an additional layer that you select its pixels.  If you had not turned off the background layer the added layer would have no transparency the whole canvas area would be selected.  That selection could be made without adding as layer You select each layer pixels adding them to  current active selection whet the first layer selected created the starting active selection.

So if you want to select the transparency of more then one Layer you need to Identify which layers so it will take more then one click to identify which layers. Photoshop provide a way to  select more than one layer's transparency with more than one click.

Ctrl+Click    Shift+Ctrl+Click     Shift+Ctrl+Click    Shift+Ctrl+Click etc

Fast and easy. Shift is the Add modifier key  selection tools and shortcuts will add to the current active selection.

The modifier key  (Shift, Ctrl, CMD, Alt, Option). Adobe uses these keys to modify the behavior of many Photoshop's features and tools.
