How to make EQ LEDs with Highlights

Hi forum.

I have a set of Circles on my canvas. I used the gradient to make  a transition from Green to Red (like EQs have). I'm happy with the transition how the circles look, but it's lacking some glow highlights. I tried with the outer glow settings, but thats only for 1 solid colour, or the gradient I used doesnt look good. Is there a way to get some glow the same colour as the gradient transition?

Can you show us the actual graphic, and explain how you's like it to look? 

It's possible that if you are having problems with Layer Styles, add the first style and make the layer a Smart Object, then open Layer Styles again.  Another thing you might need to check is the order of the effects.  If you are using two or more of the same effect, then the higher values need to be at thew bottom of the stack.
