How to mask fireworks?

What is the easiest way to mask these fireworks in the picture so I can make them so up over the white border but without the dark blue background?

Make a loose selection around the white area. Then either go to Edit > Content-Aware Fill... or Edit > Generative Fill (if you are using the Photoshop Beta).
