I just migrated from an intel Mac to M4. Lightroom is running fine, but when I start Photoshop it says I should install Rosetta. I understand I have to install the non-intel version of Photoshop, but how do I do that? When I start the creative cloud installer, it says "to run this version of Photoshop, Rosetta should be installed". But I just want to delete the current (intel) version of Photoshop.

Addition: I also downloaded the latest version of Photoshop, but it won't install. I click on the dmg and on the icon but nothing happens.

Hi @Lex van Oorspronk! Could you provide more details about what you're experiencing? If you haven't already, please try using this guide to install Photoshop on an Apple Silicon machine: https://adobe.ly/4gTLRzs. Thank you!

Thank you for letting us know it's working for you now. If you used the Migration Assistant you may have brought over an Intel version of Photoshop and the CC app that required Rosetta. It's a good idea to do a fresh install for applications.

It sounds like you might getting a Windows version of Photoshop. Can you log out of the CC app and uninstall it, the try a different browser and redownload the CC app and then install Photoshop from it. Some browsers can report incorrect OS data.

I uninstalled an intel version that migrated to my new M4 and then reinstalled it. I presume the re-install is not the Intel version, but do not know how to tell. Photoshop itself seems to run fine and it did before the replacement. However, the custom actions used on my Intel macbook version that worked fine now come back with an error when I do a batch change to photos come back with an error on the first photo that says "File can't be opened because it was moved or deleted." The execution of the batch requires selecting the source file then the output file as it has always done. Not working at all.
